What is a membership organization?

A membership organization is a general term for a group that has members.  Typically, members join by paying a fee or dues on an annual basis which allows the member to have all the rights and priviledges offered by the organization.  Most organizations have a mission or focus that attracts members - people with similar interests.

EPW-USA focuses on improving and enhancing the lives and workplaces of women.  As an organization we believe that equal treatment of women and men is important in many aspects of life.  We believe in equal opportunity and access to jobs, equal pay for equal work, and fair and equitable health care and education.
